COURSE STRUCTURE
The Marine Ecology Nusa Penida course is your gateway to a world of underwater exploration. Spread over 3.5 days, the course includes six stimulating open-water dives.
DAY 1
On Day 1, a theoretical classroom session helps you discover coral anatomy, biology, and their vital role in photosynthesis. Moreover, we explore more marine organisms like coral reef algae, sponges, and seagrass, teaching you how to identify different fish and invertebrates.
DAY 2
Moving on to Day 2, we bring Marine Ecology to the forefront. The day commences with two ocean dives, giving you hands-on experience in identifying fish, substrates, and invertebrates. Following our return, we continue the learning journey in the classroom with another enlightening lesson on Marine Ecology.
DAY 3
The day starts with two more dives, sharpening our skills in identifying substrates, fish, and invertebrates. Back at the dive centre, we cruise into the global distribution of corals, the impact of coral bleaching, and its effects on reef health.
