COURSE STRUCTURE

The Coral Bleaching Nusa Penida course spans over one and a half days, featuring two dives. Firstly, you’ll get the lowdown on coral bleaching theory, gaining a thorough understanding of its causes and effects. Then, you will train on the CoralWatch colour chart, a vital instrument for Reef Health in Bali.

Next up, during the two dives, you will apply your newfound knowledge, observing and documenting the condition of the coral reefs. In the end, the gathered data will be shared on a global stage. This means that your involvement will support researchers around the world in their quest to understand coral reefs, coral bleaching, and climate change in greater detail.
