Why Signing Up for a Drift Diver Course Penida?

The Sidemount course Nusa Penida will instantly change your entire perspective on Scuba Diving. In other words, forget the standard setup of 1 scuba tank on your back and think differently. In fact, think sideways for a moment. So, imagine diving with not one,

but 2 tanks on each side of your body. Sound futuristic and fun? Well, that’s because it truly is! Sidemount diving first began with cave divers in mind as it would be easier to enter smaller and tighter spaces. Ever since then, it has ultimately flourished amongst recreational divers. Therefore, it will be no surprise to see many more people with tanks at their side enjoying an underwater journey. Visit us without delay to be sure to add this particular specialty to your list. Above all, you will not regret it!

In the event that you still need some convincing despite how great it sounds already, then please continue reading. The Sidemount Course will not only improve your overall underwater style but will provide other additional benefits, too. Ultimately, you will want to try it for yourself in order to see what the fuss is about. So, given these points, the benefits of Sidemount include, but are not limited to:

Even if you are not looking at cave diving specifically, the Sidemount Course will provide other useful skills. For example, the ability to have your tanks at your side will truly lessen the water-resistance encountered. Therefore, helping you become more streamlined and in turn, better positioned, which helps with buoyancy and improved air consumption. Additionally, having these skills will consequently help you tackle the currents we face at our drift dive sites, for instance.

Furthermore, you will also learn how to detach your tanks from the side body, and reposition them in front. With your tanks in front of you, it will make accessing smaller overhangs and swim through passages easier than before. Moreover, Manta Point, on Nusa Penida, is the perfect place for Sidemount diving. The reef is full of secret spots only accessible with Sidemount, making the Sidemount Course Nusa Penida a must-do.

Sidemount diving is perfect for divers seeking comfort during a long day out on the water. It is not only good for people with back pain but will also provide ease of entry and exit. Furthermore, you can now enter and clip the tanks to your side, afterward. This method will be lighter on the body and as a result, make you feel a little less tired.

Sidemount and safety are two words that definitely go together unanimously. With 2 tanks we will have a source of redundancy, which will result in longer and safer dives. Likewise, the accessibility of our tank valves becomes easier because of the arrangement of the Sidemount system. It is important to have easy access in the event of any diver emergencies that may occur. Last, but certainly not least, the risk of entanglement in your scuba hoses is dramatically reduced, resulting in less worry.

I came because of the 5 star reviews, and I can’t leave without providing a 5 star review of my own. Did two fun dives with Legend last weekend, at Manta Point and Crystal Bay. I’m a sidemount diver, and I came with my own gear. Not only did the crew at Manta Dive not question it (as some centres do), they embraced it – including my request for modular valves in DIN, and tanks passed to me in the water. So I was a happy camper from the outset. Then it was on to two incredible dives. Manta point didn’t fail, with 4 of the namesake creatures turning up. Crystal Bay was equally enjoyable. I must make a shoutout to Rita and Marine. They were all you could ask for in dive guides. The briefing was comprehensive yet accessible for the less experienced divers. And Marine let us dive at our own pace, pointing out mantas before the rest of the group realised they had arrived! The only problem I had is that I time restraints precluded me from joining more dives. Can’t recommend Legend Dive enough. Thanks for a great experience. I’ll be back.

Legend Diving Penida is one of the best dive operations I’ve experienced in recent years. The facilities are modern, clean, and well designed, and the equipment is high-quality and very well maintained. Even though I usually don’t leave my own gear with others, I felt completely comfortable doing so during my stay. Safety is clearly a top priority, with clear communication, flexible dive planning, and a professional boat crew. The instructors and guides were outstanding, delivering detailed briefings and great marine life knowledge. As an instructor myself and not easily impressed, I can confidently recommend Legend Diving Penida to anyone looking for a high-quality diving experience. Bonus points: you can go sidemount diving with them, too (if you’re certified).
