All Diving Kids Nusa Penida

The Diving Kids Nusa Penida course is a fantastic way for children to get involved in Scuba from early on. Here at Legend Diving Penida, children from the young age of 8 can already put a tank on their backs and jump into the pool.

This introduction will help ease them into the water and ultimately prepare them for the ocean later on. Once they reach age 10, they can then sign up for the junior level programs. Finally, they can now blow bubbles at sea! Of course, the feeling of saltwater on your skin is addictive. With this being said, by age 12 they are ready for the advanced level course. Safety is our number 1 priority and therefore ensure that your children will be under constant and direct supervision. Our team of highly-trained PADI Instructors will be there to guide your children into becoming great scuba divers.

Our Bubblemaker course will leave your children wanting more after their first underwater breaths. It is both fun and an exceptional learning experience. If you are planning a diving holiday on Nusa Penida and have an 8-year-old, we’ve got you covered! First, they will learn how to wear and practice using the specific scuba equipment.

Second, we will introduce your child to our pool. Once they are comfortable, then we will take them under to a maximum depth of 2 meters. They will undoubtedly enjoy the experience of swimming around and making bubbles. A PADI professional will be present and will directly supervise your child for the duration of the course. Not only will they swim around but also play games with their Instructor. We recommend children feel comfortable in the water before signing up, however prior scuba experience is not required. Things Are Getting Serious

Try Dive – From 10 Years Old

If your child is 10 and is crazy about the ocean, look no further than the Discover Scuba Diving experience. This perspective-changing program will truly open their eyes wider and give them a bigger crush on the underwater world. During the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience,

they will dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters. The world transforms as we go deeper, and this is certainly noticeable around the beautiful reefs of Nusa Penida. Notably, your child will be under the direct supervision of one of our fantastic PADI professional Instructors. If your family is looking at getting scuba certified and your child is 10 years old, they can also join. Once a child reaches age 10, they are then eligible for the PADI Junior Open Water Diver course. The course outline is like that of the Open Water Diver Course,

but with a few modifications. First, they will complete the same theoretical modules as the Open Water Divers. The Instructor assigned to the Junior Course will consequently ensure that your child has a good understanding of the theory. Moreover, the pool and ocean training will likewise be very much the same as the full Open Water Course. With this in mind, we adjust the equipment and depth according to their certification requirements and limits. Each Adventure Dive has a knowledge development section which will be completed before conducting the dives in the open water. Fun is a guarantee, however, the training doesn’t have to end here. Moving forward, the next step for Junior Divers is the PADI Junior Rescue Diver. Upon reaching age 15, your child can upgrade from Junior status and will therefore have less depth and buddy restrictions.
